William Wyatt

Born in the heart of the Silicon Valley—San Jose, California—William Wyatt was raised to love God and country in the home of a Police Officer. From an early age, he was listening to his grandparent’s vinyls singing along to Elvis Presley, Hank Williams Sr., Glen Campbell as well as gospel classics like the Gaithers and The Cathedrals—the very foundation of his musical soul. 

William grew up singing in church in southern gospel style quartets, youth ensembles and choir during his teenage years, but never really thought about pursuing music in any other meaningful way beyond that. While in high school, William bought his first pickup truck, a 1968 Ford F100 stepside. He tuned in to KRTY radio and discovered that he was living in the golden age of 90s country and quickly became enamored with artists like Brooks and Dunn, George Strait, Neal McCoy Joe Diffie, Mark Chesnut and Tracy Byrd. That style of country music shaped His music taste and set the standard for him. During the 2000s, driven by a love for serving people, 

William was ordained as a Baptist preacher and worked in a small church where he was exposed to the deepest pains and highest joys of people in the congregation. William also became quite the writer of theological and philosophical ideas on his blog. These experiences with people combined with his skills in writing would later be foundational for his world-view and the subject matter of his songwriting. 

Then, in 2013, the little struggling church he was working in changed hands in leadership and William found himself looking for a way to support his young growing family. Having grown up the son of a cop, he decided to pursue public service in this other familiar capacity, first as a corrections officer and then later as a police officer.

 However in the infamous summer of 2020, public opinion turned against law enforcement and William found himself in an uncomfortable place in his career and voluntarily walked away from this profession that he once loved. Around that time, in 2022, one of William’s former sergeants, Frank Signorino, was singing for a local cover band and Frank asked him if he knew anyone who could take his place as lead singer after he retired and moved away.

 This is where his love for country music had a way of pulling him in a direction that he had never even considered before. William thought picking up a new hobby by singing in a band might be just the thing to lift his spirits during this transitional time in his life and soon he was singing in local bars, wineries, festivals and private events. 

In 2025, William and his bandmate, John Castro, embarked on a country duo project called HonkyTonk Saints and now this hobby started becoming more serious. After a couple years of singing in front of crowds and learning to find his country music voice in both bands, William couldn’t stop thinking about so many of his own life experiences and those of others he knew and loved and felt compelled to use songwriting as an outlet for this and started posting clips of these songs on social media. 

By the end of that year, William was contacted by Off the Row Recording Studio in Franklin, TN because they were interested in recording some of his songs. After a trip to Nashville in June of 2026 where William recorded four of his original songs, he is set to release his debut EP starting with his first single - “Once in a Blue Neon Moon” releasing on September 18, 2026.

The twists and turns in William Wyatt’s life have been quite a ride and have given him the life experiences of three lifetimes to fuel his creativity for writing songs that he hopes will also be a means to serve people in a way that speaks to their hearts. This is an exciting new chapter in his life and he’s just getting started.
